I had forgotten that I make art for people to look at and to be inspired by. I had forgotten what a gift it is to me to be able to have some kind of influence with my creations and how satisfying it is to know that what I do has value and makes a difference. Now I remember how good it all is and I appreciate this!

The images I use are from the heart, comprised of childhood memories, feelings and inspirations from my imagination—pictures that take up space in my mind and need to become real with fabric, paint and whatever materials are available.

Mostly cotton fabric, thread, acrylic paint, my drawings printed onto fabric; machine pieced and appliqued, machine quilted.
